How do you go from making tacos to mopping the kitchen floor?
Ahhh...very easy! Step 1: have your very hungry, impatient son "wash" the pan still dirty with egg crust from breakfast. Step 2: walk out of the room to get a package of hamburger in the deep freeze......come running back when you hear the son yell "oh SOaaaaP!". The poor thing had dropped the scrubber brush on the floor, busting the end off the soap filled handle :)
There was at least a couple of ounces of Dawn spreading on my hardwood floor.....How do you clean up soap??? I tried to soak up as much as possible with paper towels. Then I just mopped and mopped ad mopped some more, at least until the bubbles quit coming out of the mop!
The real kicker of it all was Corey had Celebration (from the kid's bop CD from McD's) on at the time! Oh yeah, Celebration...we're gonna have a good time! Ceeeeelebrrration!
What a pumpkin!

Inspiriation
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be - brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so small that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in us, it’s in everyone. As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

We are starting school tomorrow..I'm hoping to instill these thoughts into our children! What a difficult task, to be who you are in Christ without compromise!

Flying High..or Not At All!
We stopped by our nearby Visitor's Center to swipe some free maps....the volunteer was such a nice guy and completely catered to our whims! As we were getting ready to leave, he asked if we had tried out the flight simulator...Wha? (Riley for "what")

Oh Sooooo SERIOUS!!!
Don't know if you can see it, but he crashed....good thing it's not real!
Again with the crashing!!!!

They would have stayed there for hours, but we had frozen food in the car rapidly defrosting!!! Jamie did really well! (I had to force him to bomb dive the ground so we could leave!) On our way home they asked if next time we could bring dad....can we say "field trip" less then 10 min. away!
