Sappy Ramblings

We are in the midst of 3 weddings in 3 weeks....so forgive the sappy ramblings ;)



This was our song---the video is a total cheese fest, so just close your eyes and imagine two insanely young kids getting married! (gosh I can't believe it's been almost 12 years!)

Last weekend's wedding had a cowboy theme going on...incredibly fun and so cool to see friends that I haven't chatted with in forever and a day! Corey found himself a little cowgirl and I caught his first slow dance with my cell phone camera...oh well...at least its a memory ;)

This song's been on my heart a lot today....lots of friends struggling with various things...we're struggling with various things....But as always, God proves himself greater than any struggle, sickness or hurt.

Perseids

I'm sure y'all have been waiting with baited breath to find out how ther Perseid viewing went!

We swam all day at my parents' house...hence the pink cheeks! They were sooooo tired..Riley, was a total crab! (and Corey insisted on wearing his Sonic hat...eventhough it was a million degrees outside!)

Thank God that we saw 3 huge meteors zooming across the sky within like 30 min!!! If we waited any longer, there might not have been anything left of us....those stupid mosquitoes!! (and mother of the year for forgetting the bug spray!)

We were going to go back out on Friday night to try and see if we'd have better luck with Dad, but...storms and cloud cover pretty much ruled the night :/ Oh well, maybe Dad can see them next year!
