Whew! It's HOT here!!! I'm thinkin' momma needs a 'rita big time! (Jim's working tonight so tomorrow night the blender and I are spending some quality time)
Are any of you going out tonight to watch for meteors?
The Perseids are coming...the Perseids are coming!
If you're adventurous and an early riser, tonight/tomorrow early morning are the best viewing times...you might be able to see them Friday/Sat, but it's supposed to be raining Friday night. Last year we went out around 11pm and a few. So tonight, I'm loading the boys up in their pj's tonight and heading out to find a dark country road to do some star gazing :) Hopefully we'll have some good pictures to follow!

Good luck! I never seem to have any luck at star gazing. And it is 'wicked' hot, isn't it?
We watched last night but weren't dazzled much...have heard tonight might be better. Love your banner!! We are down to 2 left at home, and are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
