Tuesday....Seriously?!?

This is pretty much my morning....except swap out legos for the bananas! Why, Oh Why Can't They Share?!? You'rrrrrrre Sooooooo Selfish!

By 7:30, 2 boys were banished back to their beds......by 8:00 they were doing hard labor.....

Torture Tuesday---or----as I'm thinking back on it, shake your head and laugh at the little geniuses you've brought into the world!

WW3 has begun because someone wasn't flying their lego starship in the correct formation for StarWars episode 5 (No! In episode 4, Luke flew into the whatever like that...NOT episode 5....well Duh!)

Skip StarWars, onto Indiana Jones....or should I say Corey Jones... What? It's Riley Indiana?!? No, wait...It is indeed Corey.Jones. Ooops, my bad.....it's RILEYINDIANA!!! Which results in a wrestle match where poor Riley Indiana gets the snot kicked out of him......

Ok Folks, time for the boys to do something constructive-----Dishes! Noooo, oh the wailing and nashing of teeth heard from that idea!

Dishes done, time for school.....What? Today's topic is not on why Riley indeed makes a better Indiana Jones than Corey?!? Yes, Riley Does have a cowboy hat...but Corey was so kind to inform us that Indiana does NOT wear a cowboy hat! It's a feDORaaaaaaaaaa! Really, well now we know ;)

15 minutes into school and I'm sounding more and more like Sister Mary Elephant----class.....Class......CLASS!!!!! Boys, sounds to me like it's time to take a break.....watch Indiana Jones Last Crusade. At least I can ooogle the Jones Boys plus the added bonus of WW2, Bible, Ancient Greek and Geography. (I'm sure that I could think of more homeschooling merits for Indiana, but my brain is fried...margaritas for lunch anyone?)

I guess we'll try again after lunch....but remember you can't have your pudding until you eat your meat.....or is that you can't go outside until you finish your Math? There we go, that sounds better....

Calgon take me away!

A friend of mine homeschooled 8 kids, two of them girls. WHen it got too rambunctious in the winter and the boys complained of being bored, their parents made them go out and run around and around the farmhouse or move the woodpile. They always did it and only complained a little. I thought it was really funny! I guess they learned to keep quite if they didn't reeeeaaaaaaly want some exercise.
